Description of deck by its author (quoted):
I love the deck of the day feature because it forces me to write a
description for decks that currently have none. And, in some cases
where its my own deck, update the deck a little bit to include some of
the latest stock of cards. *grin*
This deck was an attempt to exploit the
ability of Reward to the Faithful from Scourge by combing it was False
Cure and a few really expensive creatures. To get these really
expensive creatures into play, you have almost a playset of both Breath
of Life and Buried Alive. That's six cards to bring those
creatures in play and then hopefully follow it up with Reward to the
Faithful AND False Cure. If you don't have a False Cure in hand,
you still should be able to beat some face with cards like Sphinx of the
Steel Wind in all its three-color flying life-linking goodness, or Draco
for its shear size, Stratadon, a 10/10 trampling monstrosity or just
with a well equipped Nip Gwyllion.
Speaking of equipment, you have a suite of three
different equipments each meant to provide the game with some random
fun, power and enjoyment. Sigil of Distinction is great on an
early Nip Hag. Sword of Fire and Ice is wonderful for damage and
card draw. Bonesplitter is just excellent utility.
Devout Witness helps out with troublesome enchantments
and artifacts while Tireless Tribe helps to rid your hand of overcosted
fatties so you can just reanimate then the following turn(s).
This deck could use some dual lands and more powerful
spells, but for a start, this is a fun and reasonably good deck!
