Description of deck by John Streetz (quoted):
As the title of this deck infers, this deck is both mono-green and mono-Elf (with the exception of Elephant Guide making Elephant tokens and Caller of the Claw making Bear tokens).  The glue of the deck is in both Elvish Champion and in Gempalm Strider (giving a nice boost to your Elves when in a time of need).

While this deck doesn't take advantage of some of the Elf love in the Lorwyn block, it does well for itself still with Slate of Ancestry (amazing card if you have a hoard of Elves in play) and Coat of Arms to beef up your army.  Could this deck be improved?  Certainly! I encourage you to make some improvements.

Note that this deck is also relatively inexpensive to creature with exception to the Coat of Arms.
