Description of deck by its author
(quoted):
This built has proven to be very consistent, I
was surprised myself how well the deck worked once the Soltari creatures
were in. The main problems of the original build were a) keeping your
non-token creatures alive when attacking, b) enough white mana for
activating militia's pride, c) finding militia's pride and d) winning
without militia's pride in play.
what did I do?
a) the soltaris and the spriggan provide with enough
safe attacks to constantly build up a small kithkin army - especially
the spriggans are great: at first they are too strong to get blocked,
then they are too strong not to be blocked
b) I put in Skyshroud Elves to have more mana
transformation (I must have been blind before )
c) + d) yeah, experiencing tough problems without
militia's pride or too many disenchants on the opposite side, I had to
invest in the perfect solution and added sterling grove. since then the
deck has its consistency.
the aura shards are a matter of meta, I sometimes wish
I still had the constant mists in, but the aura shards correspond well
with militia's pride and sterling grove and served me well since they're
in.
the rest of the deck should explain itself, I'm
running 4 Selesnya Sanctuaries to exploit the Llanowar Reborns (scarcely
LD around here) and the veteran's armaments are around for pure fun when
self-attaching to the first of 6 boldly incoming attacking 3/3 kithkin
soldiers (of which one just has got a licid on it's back, did I say
alluring? ). (*breathtaking*)
I said nothing about the Sigil Captain, yet? you
shouldn't either, it's a keycard, don't tell your friends... |
