Update is Complete! 60 New Decks!
6/6/09 - All 60 decks of the May/June Deck Database
Update are now posted, propagated and complete. All pages have
been updated with these new decks including by
color and by
type. I hope to bring more
decks sometime later this month as well. There are a host of new cool
decks from Standard that are must-haves in the MDV DDB as far as I'm
concerned.If you have any questions with regard
to the deck database, please let me know via
email. Otherwise, know you can submit decks to the Magic Deck
Vortex Database for review by posting them in the
Casual Decks and Strategies Forum. Read up more on the [DBM]

5/31/09 - I have 60 decks to be added to the database
this time around and thus far 25 of 60 have been posted. I plan to

from last deck database update are finally propagated throughout the
Deck Database.
5/30/09 - When working on updating the deck database this
morning, I realized the decks from the last update were never added to
the by color and by type pages. I spent an hour this morning
correcting that and changing a few minor things on individual database
pages. If you are a regular visitor of these pages, you will catch
the minor changes. In any event, I plan on working more on the

Deck Database Updated with 33 New Decks!
3/9/09 - Let's call this past weekend my 'catch-up'
weekend. I posted a visual spoiler start-up page for
Magic 2010, I published (or shall I say
finished finally) the
combo page for
Shards of Alara and I prepped
YWN's second combo page set to be published later this
week. In addition to
some general forum updates (mostly in the Writers Guild) and several
other items I also added 33 decks to the MDV Deck
Database.
That's right! Finally! A Deck Database
Update. You would think I would publish my DDB updates given this
is Magic DECK Vortex. Anyway...
The update isn't as expansive as the last few updates
but that's for a number of reasons including I'm going to try updating
the database more often. In the meantime, enjoy the decks!
There are some new decks, some older (1996) decks and lots of decks in

Deck Database Updated with 82 New Decks!
9/27/08 - Remember that update on the New Deck page
saying that I was working on a deck database update in the beginning of
August? Well, the deck database has finally been updated with 82 decks.
Approximately 30 of these decks are links to decks with articles since
May 2008. The New Decks Page has been posted to show you all of
the new decks. As of publishing this note, I am working on
propagating the database with these decks. Enjoy! ~Streetz~

Deck Database Updated with 92 New Decks!
6/9/08 - Believe it or not I have been scouring the net
for new decks ever since the last deck database update from earlier this
year. Not to mention the MDV Casual Deck Forum for DBMs ...
This past weekend I spent several hours and added 92 of them to the MDV
Deck Database. (With plenty more to add later!)
The propagation process is almost complete. The decks are all
posted, they are all added to the 'by color' and 'by type' pages as
well. The only thing left is to add them to the color navigation
structure (Up/Next) which you see on the actual deck pages.
Until then, enjoy all 92 new decks. There are
some Shadowmoor decks, some oldies and a lot of INFINITE combo decks. ~Streetz~

Decks Propagated Throughout the MDV Deck Database...
4/28/08 - After three months of posting the decks I am
finally propagating the deck database with these decks. It is done
as of this post. Now I can concentrate on posting new decks.

12/28/07 - After several years of this page being
dormant, I have updated it with some additional information. It's
like a FAQ now with an index of common DDB questions at the top in
addition to the introduction. Check it out and let me know if I am

10/20/07 - All of the recently posted 120 decks have been
propagated throughout the MDV Deck Database including the navigation

10/10/07 - Previously, I was only going to post 100
decks. But given the timely release of Lorwyn, I thought it was
appropriate to add another 20 decks - some of which include Lorwyn
Cards. The new decks will be propagated throughout the deck
database in the next week. In the meantime, they are at least all

9/30/07 - The 100 decks I have collected over the past
few months are finally being posted. I've started the update today
and plan on finishing it within the next week. In the meantime,

Deck Database Updated with 51 New Decks!
5/9/07 - This time around I've hit almost every deck
category including ALTWIN, BEATDOWN, BURN, COMBO, CONTROL, GROUP,
INFINITY, LAND DESTRUCTION, LITE, LOCKDOWN, MILL, RECURSION, S.C.S.,
THEME, TRIBAL, UN Decks and even WEENIE!About
fifteen of the new decks were from articles over the past two months.
About ten of them include some nifty Future Sight combos! Please
enjoy this deck database update. As always, if you have any
concerns or questions about the MDV DDB, let me know via email or in the
forums.

of the Day has begun!
3/27/07 - Deck of the Day is a new feature on Magic Deck
Vortex where you get to see a (maybe) random deck from the vast database
of decks on Magic Deck Vortex. Sometimes you'll find some
insightful piece of information about the deck. Sometimes it will
just be a glimpse of a deck you never knew existed. Each weekday,
a new deck will be featured on the home page. ~Streetz~ |
March's
Deck Database Posted & Complete!
3/4/07 - MDV will be posted deck database updates more
often now. What this means is smaller updates, but quicker
turnarounds. This month I've added 30 new decks to the database
including some GROUP, LITE, INFINITY and MILL decks. That and all
of the propagation is complete with this update. Remember that if you ever
