Introduction to Land Week.

This week we will be discussing Lands, making new decks using Lands, posting old decks using Lands, posting more art for the catacombs from land cards, resolving a contest called Thematic Landscaping from January, posting land combos and so forth. What we are doing this week is kind of like what Wizard’s does on www.magicthegathering.com except that it will be MDV’s approach to the concept... you know, with a casual perspective!

Land Week has been in the works for several months. It was originally planned for the end of January but because of the server issues experienced and the transfer to a new dedicated server, it had to be pushed back. I wish I could have still had the week over a month ago, but I am glad I didn’t. What fun would a theme week be if the site was down or completely intermittent?

Anyway, you’ll find some of your favorite article series in this week’s content including:

Lands: More than Mana by Greyfell (of course!)

Expect to also see some new article series as well.

I don’t want to make this introduction too long, but know that your feedback throughout the week on articles and features is greatly needed and appreciated. Please offer your feedback in the appropriate forum threads or send me an email. We will do more theme weeks in the future but how often we do them depends on how you all respond.

In the meantime, this page will show you what’s going on throughout Land Week. Below is a grid showing the new content for each day with a link to each. When this is all over and done, I hope everyone is fulfilled with Lands. At the very least, I hope this leaves you looking forward to more theme weeks and more features and articles on Magic Deck Vortex in the future.
