4 Color Aggro
Any criticism or suggestions would be great. Main concerns are Vines of Vastwood and a good finisher/5cc or 6cc drop. I went ahead and put Baneslayer Angel in, just because it's only 5 and typically runs well more or less no matter what. Also, any advice on the mana base would be great. I tried to get it balanced well on MWS' George Baxter analysis, but I forsee issues stemming from relying on four [/card]Rupture Spire[/card], which wouldn't be a problem if it were just slow, but it puts me back a mana each turn. Exotic Orchard seemed like a no-brainer given the prevalence of Jund and Naya.

Not a fan of Wild Nacatl in a deck that runs 3 plains no mountains and no duel lands. I'm sure you can find somethin better.

Re: 4 Color Aggro
I think pure jund or naya will be more efficient, then there mix.
There will be a lot of mana problems here, and I cannot see a lot of advantages. There are only two first drops and only 4 second drops - so the deck will be rather slow, mid-game aggro. And the mid-game creatures don't look very strong here. Last edited by BleinMono; 11-03-2009 at 04:51 AM. |

Naya seems to be just better than this, as it's faster, has better card advantage, and a more stable manabase. |

Re: 4 Color Aggro
Okay so I'm going to disagree with everyone else on this one. I think that a deck like this (Specifically a Naya deck with black for Blightning and Putrid Leech) can work well in the current standard environment.
However I see problems with the mana base. If I were to run this deck I would try something like this for the lands
That should run rather smoothly because the fetches will grab what ever basic you need for your duel and adding mountains will justify Wild Nac. I would also run 4 Nacs, 4 Thoctars, 4 Blightning, and 4 Steppe Lynx. I'd run the Lynx because on it's own (playing one land a turn) its a pretty decent one drop but with 8 fetches he becomes a pretty big threat in the early game
