@KlassyReborn: I have to agree with JakeKessler on this one. For one thing Wrap in Vigor is just a random card that can stop the effect of Lymons' card. For another thing, the closest card I can find to your suggested effect is Fire Covenant, which only does 1 damage per point of life lost. Even if you were to take away haste, if your opponent doesn't happen to have removal in their hand he is at a huge disadvantage. Also see Phyrexian Purge. I know both of these cards are oldish, but they set a standard. I know that it would seem original and cutting-edge to improve on these designs, but I do not think they can be improved upon without creating unbalance.
