Oh, by Luther? Can't wait!
Timing is key? The way this sounds, like an idea I had for an article... well mine would've been about tempo, and yeah...maybe I should work on it sometime... be back later to read it.

I'm a little ashamed now to know that as a conservative
user, I've been pretty wasteful. I've never blocked or attacked with my creatures then bounce them before they died Nor have I ever used that grey zone. I'll be sure to use these tips for future duels. ******** great article! "8"

Re: Blink And Bounce: Timing is Key. - by Luthervamplord
If you play Ghostway during the End of Turn phase, the creatures won't come back during that same phase since it all ready started, so they'll have to wait until the next End of Turn phase to come back. The creatures coming back kind of triggers at the start of the phase, in a sense.
Here, it's useful in that you can play Ghostway during your opponent's End of Turn phase, and during your next turn cast Wrath of God while your creatures are still away. Saves you a lot of mana.

Re: Blink And Bounce: Timing is Key. - by Luthervamplord
You have forgotten one of the most offensive uses of Blink type cards. Try blinking one of your morph creatures. The card will come back into play in its normal state as if it was just played (i.e. not morphed). There are some pretty big beasties that you can flip for 2 mana.
I have an Astral Slide / Otherworldly Journey deck based on this concept. It contains cards that I don't have the colors to unmorph normally. |

You are indeed correct mpotter; and I must confess that that is a HUGE oversight on my behalf - I to have a Morph-Blink deck in my collection!
You can't see it; but I just put on the dunce hat that my family got me for going out in....

Re: Blink And Bounce: Timing is Key. - by Luthervamplord
Hi! Gratz for the article, its excellent! I do have some questions and comments though. Firstly, is there a list of blink spell? i know a lot of bounce spell, but i have difficulties to find good blink spells, cause i dont know most of them. Secondly, I think that blinking a vanishing creature at the ''remove the last counter'' is a good trick you forgot to mention. so thats it! have a good lorwin pre-release everyone.

Ontop of MZ's list (Thanks BTW), I would also bring to your attention:
There are also cards that return things during your next turn - in my mind these are 'way-lay' cards and not blink

Good job on the article, LV. You can always do a follow up to this with more information and uses for Blink and Bounce.
And even provide lists.

LV - I do like your articles. I like the unique of your If I worked at R&D series, as not many other sites do that kind of coverage. And I really enjoyed this article -- your covered the majority of your bases well and it was a good read.
![]() Two thumbs up from the owner.

Ah, another fine article by Luther!
![]() Sadly I mostly knew almost everything about that already...tempo, when to do it, don't do it too early.... The review was still nice, and refreshing. Can't wait for that follow-up?

Okay Streetz, I've done alittle digging around and I'm happy to do another article or follow up to this; there's enough material to do so.
