Really, reading these was a very enjoyable experience.

It made me miss FridayNightGuru's articles.

you shouldn't be allowed to post before it goes up, like you have something relevant to say. heck we could all, almost, say we like the articles but it doesn't deal with this one directly.

First, my post is relevant, your post is not.

Second, I've already read this article. Look at my profile, and eventually you'll understand how. My post tells him that I have enjoyed reading this story so far (even though I've finished the whole thing awhile ago) and that it reminded me of FNG's articles about his Friday Night Magic adventures.

If you haven't noticed, I've always been the one to post when an article is posted up. I'm the only one (or at least always guaranteed) to read every article posted. Ask Tynion, I've been posting before the articles are put up for quite awhile. It's called editing your post. I've shown that I if anyone else am allowed to do that.

it is a very intense read. i like being able to read about other people's play experience and all. eventually this style will probably become monotone for me but while it lasts i'll soak up every word.

Yet another well told narrative. I'm jealous of Ryu's having already read all of them!

Man these stories own!! I get a right high just reading them. Words can't describe it. Maybe its the way you write. Or what you write on. Or the fact that we naturally root for the ones we call friends. I don't know. I don't care either. This series rocks. At the end of the year, this sets of articles will win in the MDV Awards for sure!!!

Keep it coming!

I love these, I gotta say. I've always liked tourney reports, and I especially like ones that are a little more in-depth than "I mised ftw. He gots powned, cuz I have hella skillz. Round seven:...". I'm definitely voting for these on the awards. Also, I like the caustic tint that these games reveal. Hilarious!

I think I am willing to put my neck out there and say this:

I will guarantee that this will not be the case with my work. I bust my butt to ensure that my writing will always entertain you. This is not to be a snooty response. I work really hard with the thought in my head that I want to be the best. I want to be the Tiger Woods of writing articles. I intend on being the best writer you have ever read.

I can't take an article off anymore. I need to make certain that you are entertained everytime I write an article so you come back from more.

Sure, if you had 15 more of these articles to go, you would get tired of it, but only getting fed one a week I think makes it more desireable and fun. Plus you know that there is only two more coming.

How does it end? Do I win with a MISE!!#@ Do I owzer some dum noob with a cat ftw?! Tune in next time!!!

Firstly, whats a MISE?

Secondly, this took place YEARS ago...how can you even remember plays so well (short of keeping a daily journal as the event took place)?

Thirdly, at the time of this tourney, shouldn't Duress have rotated out already?

Mise is a stupid term tourney honks use. In short it means.. I might as well do this. or.. I Mise well do this. Slang.

Second, it was one of the best days of my life, being a writer, I mentally documented it. I can remember the smells and sounds still. I remember how I felt, the deck sleeve color (Red like the blood I was spilling). I remember I was using the Akroma deck box. I had a green bind with my trade rares. Damn.. what was I wearing? I also have two other bigger tourneys memorized like that, but I don't want to do them just yet. I want to let this run its course then perhaps......

Third about Duress.. yea, that is my mistake. Replace all instance of Duress with Blackmail mentally. These articles have been written since around mid-January

Again a great installment and good that you see more resistance, but overcome it gracefully.

You made me make an LD deck. I feel like a jerk every time I play it though. Looking forward to more.

Its a feeling that passes with time.

You should memorize this line.

"Check your graveyard."

It should come right after your opponent loses and complains about being mana screwed

OMG, that's one of the funniest things I've ever heard--"tourney honk"! lol
Your series has to be one the best I've ever read on this site. Your photographic memory REALLY makes me feel like I'm there. I've looked forward to reading each and every single one as they get released each week. Reading them over dinner when I get home from work is MUCH more entertaining/relaxing/funny than frying my brain in the wasteland of television.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
