I'd say the deck wheres the combos thing is well not all that great to me and the prizes is just ridiculous to make the stress of handing out prizes(though nice) and who will write more daily articles...i can't... I do like the deck part though we have a huge data base and it is magicdeckvortex after all... and a search engine what would that take to make?

Edit: can't poll ATM some virus is screwing me up making it impossible to go on the main page...I will vote at work when I can though.

I voted to update the DBB, surprising to some of you I'm sure.

Have a filter so you can say look for extended decks and they filter extended, or red/blue decks, and only see red/blue decks, etc.

Unless I completely missed some button that does those things.

I don't use the search engine, plenty of combos, daily articles are okay, but sometimes they can be a little overwhelming to those that read every single one.

So yeah, update that DBB!

I voted for a deck database. It IS called magic DECK vortex, after all. You cannot change it, because MDV is MDV. I always refer to it as MDV. You cannot change the name. So you should change the content to facilitate this.

I had this same arguement with Beebles a while back, and I think I lost it, but it was a worthy arguement at the time..

You are right, it is called magic deck VORTEX, meaning that while it may have begun as a big clump of magic decks, it has since become a vortex and sucked everything else in.

I voted for prizes as I want to reward the people for thier time and effort in the contests, but also to draw more people to our site. Deck database will only attract so many people, cash and prizes will attract flocks of people.

(Remember that my job is Lead Writer, so I try to grow the site )

I voted for prizes but for reasons different from tyion. I come to this website mainly for the forums. I love the contests, I like answering rules questions, I am rapidly becoming a magic trader. I don't really win the contests (i am usualy middle to last) so I am not being greedy, I just say that as the option that best supported the forums.

I voted prizes, in order to bring more people to the forums, giving MDV a better pool to draw combos, deck ideas, decks, and writers from, all in all a better MDV.
