Sign up to Playtest Powershift, 2nd Set of Celixia Block.

This is the final round of Sign-ups for playtesters and developers of Powershift. Design is about 95% complete with the set, and I hope to have playtesting starting in early July.

Some of the people that have wanted to playtest in the past are automatic ins. Designers of the set are also automatic ins. I will take up to twenty people to help on the playtesting team as I understand schedules can be difficult to work around.

About Powershift: Powershift is the next set in the Celixia block. Celixia, for those of your that don’t know, is a fictional set of MTG cards created by John Streetz. Powershift, has been created thus far by the designers mentioned above.

Given some of the balance problems I’ve had with the last set, I need more help in developing it – and thus I am looking for developers and playtesters. Note that I am not looking for designers.

Things that I am looking for in playtesters:

Understanding how cards work within a set and block together.
Focus and a good concept of the game we love: Magic: the Gathering.
Having a good concept of magic rules.
Having a good eye for combos and more importantly, degenerate combos.
Understanding the color pie.

Other things to know and understand:

I will have the ultimate say so to who is on the team. I also reserve the right to remove you from the team at any time.

Official playtesting will start within just a week or two, or maybe sooner depending on the how quickly we assemble this team. Once a member, you will have access to top secret information regarding the Powershift set.

i'm down to help...but i can only test on weekends since i am away from home all week for the most of the foreseeable futur.

Also I seem to be decent at finding combos....color pie I should know a decent amount of...

Well, lets see...I work 5 to close here -9GMT.... well

Ok Mornings everyday but monday...mondays i got practice at 9pm so maybe just not monday. thursdays i have games at 8pm or 6pm? Other then that, I work 5 to close (basically the end of the bloody day) other then that, I think I'm open. That make sense?

I had signed up for this a while back and wondered what happened. I'm good for just about any time except Sundays and Fridays at 7 (I love you all, but I refuse to miss my FNM

), and preferably any time in the afternoon/evening. Just a note: I think this'll be awesome!

As for availability; I can offer at least two/three hours a day in the evening. I'm running on GMT time though, so keep that in mind

I'm not sure how much help I can be (lack of a MWS on Linux does that, oh well...) but I can look over the cards and help on almost every other reguard...

MZ - I could always use help in the flavor, card name, story and flavor text department.
