Re: Celixia Files: Doppeltower [LAND WEEK]

While i enjoyed the article most of the lands seem to be either under or over powered, I must say that there are many many many good ideas in the way the cards work and the artwork is amazing but the playability seems a little lacking. In general the article is very good (as always) and i cant wait to see what you cook up next.

Thanks for the comments, DB-Birdy. Anyone else have any comments on the article and/or cards? And specifics dislikes, likes, etc?

Re: Celixia Files: Doppeltower [LAND WEEK]

Doppeltower kicks @$$!! A Johnny's heaven, to be sure. Just throw in a little land-searching that puts them in play and voila ^^ I like copies. And there's always the option of Donateing it you have Donate in Powershift, right? You'd better every set should have Donate!

Sisken is a sweet land too, probably too powerful (along with all the others, since they produce colored mana AND have an ability - so there's no reason NOT to use at least one, and all have good abilities), but I'm not complaining. Peel from Reality every turn goes great with CiP abilities, especially those of the Vedalken Dismisser or Wall of Blossoms type, bwahahaha.

Also, like the twist on the duals. I'm sure there's some way to abuse that bouncing ability... aha! Make it produce 3 extra mana, add 2 Exploration-type things with Cloudstone Curio and I believe that's infinite mana + CiP lands and enchantments... too many cards

Thanks, Mal. Perhaps we'll find a donate-effect in Equilibrium.
